Help? In return of this help below, I will feature you in my journal for 3 times (cause I rarely make this kind of thing)
and I will pick 3 artworks in your gallery and promote you to some people.

*grin*
I kept on mentioning I want camera to my parents ( I rarely do that ) so finally I'm able to buy one (with my own money, though)
So..I have a budget. HAS TO BE BELOW 200 DOLLARS. (cause I want to save for college--although I'm still in junior high and don't know where to go/what to take)

And I have a criteria:

MORE than 5 megapixels. (7-10)
Has a NIGHTVIEW. (because my mom's camera can't take anything in the dark, even with flash.)
COMPUTER RECHARGEABLE (I seriously don't like my mom's, cause hers is using AAA batteries, and they're kinda expensive now, and then, it rans out VERY FAST whenever I use the flash. dammit)
HAS A MEMORY CARD SLOT. (of course)
ABLE TO TAKE VIDEO (I need it sometimes)
SELF-TIMER *grin*

The brand?
err...seriously, I prefer Sony....(Snapshot/cyber-shot)
but if there are some that's very cool and better out there, why not?

err...here are the ones that I've considered,
but they're not Sony. (The Walmart I visited doesn't have Sony..)

Kodak ZD710 (7 MP, $124.00)

Fujifilm finepix220 (10 MP, $169.88)

Polaroid t831 (7 MB, $139.84)

(oh..might be important if there's anyone who take it seriously...colors? I prefer dark colors. from BLUE, BLACK, SILVER, WHITE. even dark green is fine. just NOT RED, PINK, or more flashy colors)

THANKS FOR THOSE WHO TRY TO RECCOMEND AND PARTICIPATE!!

well, the one store that I said was the one that's kinda small, so it's actually had less choices. But next time--when I decided the type of the camera, I'll go and get the type I want. I actually can buy more than 200 dollars if I really like it, but I'll go with the budget first, lol.

kodak, eh? thanks, I'll check them out.

A friend of mine has a Cyber-shot.
Clickie.
My mom found it not very user friendly. I thought it was awesome, except it takes AA batteries. So, that could be a problem.

We have a DSC-S30 Cybershot.
Clickclick.
It's fairly easy to use. Except it's 1.3 Mega pixels. And when I get pictures on the computer they come out with a.. kind of, horrible quality. So, of course, I have to edit the pictures until it doesn't look all fuzzy.

Canons work wonders. They can be a bit expensive, though.

We have :;
Oooooh <3
Bleh.

I -highly- recommend the first link. It really is an awesome camera. It comes with it's own battery, a charger, memory card, AV cable.. all of that fun stuff. 7.1 Mega pixels is always awesome. I was never too fond of the lens though, for some reason.
I got it for $200.

The second link.
It's lifetime sucks. It's already falling apart, and I've had it for about a year. [ Mind you, I'm careful with not dropping electronics, usually. ] It runs on AA batteries. However, the quality of the pictures are awesome once you get them on a computer.
I got it for $180, about.

Yep.. *nodnod* We also have a few other cameras. But they are not working, atm, becauase their lifetime sucks as well. XD Sooo, I didn't bother posting them.

Hope I helped. :]
Annndd... Now it messes up the links. >____x

[ It made the first link a smiley face. So, it had to be separated. XD ]
DSC-S30??--lol, I don't have a photoshop program in my laptop..so I can't actually edit it, and I can't use paint very well since I'm not a mouse-user.

(same with me--my last cell phone when I was in Indonesia, never had a scratch on it besides when my cousin hold it once.--then I never lend my electronics to anyone.--but now I don't have any cell anymore, lol)

Thanks for the suggestions!--you did help, I'm considering it now, lol!

My eyes are kinda locked on this, though [link];pq-locale=en_US

12 MEGAPIXELS. wow.
Li-ion rechargeable battery.
32 MB internal memory and had the memory card slot.
(but I can't find anyone with a nightview)
...but the price: $199.95
(but I can't find it in the bestbuy website, so...this one's my first choice, but I still will look around)

Thanks for your help!!! (I'll feature you next time I make journals--3 times!) (I'm considering the one that you highly reccomend--the 7.1 megapixels!)

--how many cameras do you have!??!--is it like, your whole family = photographers??

I don't have any Kodak cameras, but I've heard they aren't the best.. They are good while they last though. But a lot of them are good when it comes to quality in the pictures. xD

-I- have four cameras. I guess you could say I like to buy and hoard really good electronics. The rest of the family all together- .... Nine, I believe. So, there are thirteen cameras in this house, rofl.
.... Wow.

Glad I could help. :)
